چکیده
What is a "SHOT"? What we are looking for Shot – an abrupt change in the scene i.e. change of scene, change of camera angle (change of active camera). Shot detection in video is also called – video segmentation. If we compare stills image segmentation to video segmentation, then the homogeneous regions in image are homogeneous sequences in video and boundaries in images are actually the shots in video.

Introduction Brains and sensory systems are characterized by limited bandwidth and computational resources. At any point in time, we can focus our attention only to a limited set of features or objects. One of the most remarkable –and often neglected– differences between machine vision and biological vision is that computers are often asked to process an entire image in one shot and produce an ...

متن کاملComparison of MLP NN Approach with PCA and ICA for Extraction of Hidden Regulatory Signals in Biological Networks
The biologists now face with the masses of high dimensional datasets generated from various high-throughput technologies, which are outputs of complex inter-connected biological networks at different levels driven by a number of hidden regulatory signals. So far, many computational and statistical methods such as PCA and ICA have been employed for computing low-dimensional or hidden represe...
